Can I buy additional plates to increase the weight? Can the handles, well, handle more plates? Will they fit?

FROM THE MANUFACTURER: Thank you for contacting us. Please be informed that the 52.5 lbs or 105 lbs or 200 lbs Dumbbell set has 1.15" hole size, while the set 40,50 and 60 lbs Dumbbell have 1" hole size. Besides, all of our separate Handle and weigh plates have 1" hole size only ( we do not sell the plates or Handle with 1.15" hole size separately). If you purchased the 52.5, 105 or 200 lb set, you're out of luck. If you have the 40, 50 or 60 lb set, you can add any 1" weight plate.

I'm not here to defend fakespot (since they obviously are not right all the time), but citing an article in defense of amazon seems pretty cringe when anyone with reading comprehension can find tons of fake or paid (and undisclosed) reviews. Not to mention how often slickdeals takes down posts that turn out to be shill accounts. Slickdeals is complicit in this crap as well, since they outright remove any trace of the post and don't disclose why (then you come back to see what everyone is saying after you order something and have to wonder if you just got scammed (slickdeals should just leave the post, strike the hyperlinks and leave a note at the top explaining why it was removed).

Hey OP, is the shipping cost acceptable? Mine is an additional $269.25 from Japan which is more than 4x the cost of the set. Weighlift

I opted for a different weight set and it was available with FS. Appreciated!!!
