It's significantly lighter. It's main selling point is how light it is. I use it for fps gaming and absolutely love it.

I love this mouse. But for a high asking price, still using micro-usb is an absolute joke.

Just two extra buttons??? I have the G502, and really like that configuration. Good button layout for both thumb and index finger.

I'm not sure what the advantage is of this one? Is it a build quality thing?

The G502 is a brick (heavy). This one is much, much lighter and most consider a lighter mouse better for FPS.

Can someone tell me the reason to go for a $110 worth mouse? Why is this so expensive?

Superlight wireless mouse with strong sensor designed for competitive Esport fps. Also has built-in rechargeable battery inside with 70hour continuous. You can get wireless charging mouse pad to make it never run out power while on the mat.

I have the G305 which is a cheaper mouse. Not nearly as light but pretty light if you use an adapter with AAA rechargeable lithium ion battery (will shorten battery life vs AA but you can swap it out when out of juice).

G502 is if you want a lot more buttons or if you prefer heavier with adjustable weights

I don't even buy Logitechs. The switches in them tend to break in less than a year. Now all my mouse gear is corsair. So far.. so good. Zowie is also pretty good, if your into wired only mouses.
