Not impressed by this price. I think the x95 65" should hit 800-1000. And worth it for the wide viewing angle and better local dimming

It says $1600
I really need 65" TV, and this has been posted in other threads too, but $1000 vs $500 Samsun TU700D. This is going to be the "living room" tv where it's not going to be primary watching source, or just for background or to just check something type of situation when friends are over. I have A80J for my main viewing area, so I am not sure if I should get another Sony (but LED) or get something cheaper?
Samsung TU700D is $480 and LG UQ8000 is $500
Are these really horrible, even for just occasional viewing of stuff? I don't want it to look horrible too, since it's going to be first thing people will see.
What to do?

I was at the store, man, difference between QLED 65Q7DA and the $500 LG UQ8000 and Samsung TU700D was night and day. I would say no comparison. But it's twice the cost. Q7DA is $1k.
Now, my question would be if 65Q7DA is better than X90 or the other Samsung someone mentioned in the thread. I have A80J and honestly it's a nice picture but it is not blowing me away due to dimness, yes you can definitely bump the brightness using "VIVID" setting but it just makes thing unreal because it feel overblown. Otherwise, you really have to have right content to watch on OLED, once you get the the right content, especially stuff that's not CGI or too much going on, OLED is amazing. I can't spend another $1500+ for 65" OLED though if they are even that price.
