DON'T buy from mint - best buy has the same deal and you can activate past 45 days but mint is really strict about the activation expiring after 45. You've been warned.
Language. Everyone have their own convenience
Amex offer still available for me. Spend $90 get $45. Six months of unlimited for $45 plus taxes and recovery fee.

So what is the time limit to activate if any for these when i purchase from BB/Target.
The cards I bought back in 2-2022 had a printed expiration date of 6-2024 on them, YMMV I suppose. I've heard reports of people getting deactivated/locked cards reactivated by talking to a Mint CSR.

Mint is a scam. I bought 3 months for $45. Mint definitely makes you think you can continue purchasing the 3 months in advance/ $15 a month plan, but you cannot. When your $45 runs out, they raise the lowest price for you. Meaning you can no longer get 3 months for $45. You will still have to buy 3 months at a time but you no longer get a $15 price point. AVOID!!

You can always get the lowest prices (EG $45 for 3 months etc), you are just required to prepay for 12 months. Which You can make your own payment plan on if you have savings (just take the $ out of your savings upfront, and pay your savings account back over the year in this case take out 15X12=180, then pay your savings account back 15 a month, and you will be back to square one at the end of the yr). That's kind of how I do it. Also, I BELIEVE the Mint family plan which is not explained well at all, basically allows you to pay 3 months at a time instead of 12 months and still get the lowest rates. Granted it requires multiple lines. Of course, prepaying has it's own negatives, it locks you in for X time which sort of defeats the big advantage of being unlocked/prepaid which is flexibility. Also there is time value of money (altho with these small amounts and timeframe, arguably not a big deal). All in all may very well be well worth it. For me two big reason I like Mint over my previous carrier Red Pocket GSMA is, Mint gives my One Plus 8T 5G where RP limited me to 4G (this is a Tmobile vs ATT thing). And I get better speeds on Mint. Typically 40-50 mbps on RP, I'm seeing often over 100 mbps since switching to Mint. The better speeds arent due to 4G vs 5G as I've tested 5G phones on RP GSMA and they got the same speed as 4G in my area, but it's a thing nonetheless. The other thing is I feel like Mint is a larger company with a better website and better CS. The downside is RP had better coverage in one specific area important to me, but I can live with this.

Well, my guy who is new to this game, you bounce around - 6 months of mint on this deal, visible for 3 and then maybe boost for three. Time it correctly and you'll always be on this mint deal at this time.
Well that is good. Stick it to them. Also, I have been on Slickdeals (Slickdeals.net) since 2006, so not a new guy--thanks for the shout out, tho. 🙂

Anyone know if/how this would work with Family plan for 5 lines? Their chat just seems to be a virtual chat, so cant ask them at the moment. Not sure if I can just buy 5 sims from best buy or whatever and somehow use those.

Same here. I wasn't planning to use it, but this sale changes it for me. I may go for it.

It's still there. When I went to their website in a different browser, I didn't see it. Then, I went to SD and clicked the link in this post. Then, the promo showed up. Maybe it's triggered through referrals or something.

Assuming you are a new customer and have several phones in your family. Can you buy multiples of these and get 6 months for the price of 3 for all your phones?

But then aren't you no longer a new customer when you go to place an order for the buy 3 get 3 deal?
What do you mean? Trial isn't related to old or new customer. you simply try it with a trial-SIM card (use a burner email), then if you decide to go with them. Just buy it as this deal offers (use your real email).

I firstly clicked SD link, then wen through a CB site and the b3g3 banner was still there. In the checkout page, I typed in the referral phone # and checked out with the amex card with 45off90 offer.

Fingers crossed...
