If you're getting your hopes up about this, and thinking you'll be "the exception" to all the negative experiences...prepare to be disappointed. Read the previous thread about last week's Walmart + promo. There are 10+ pages of complaints. Walmart didn't even have the "Buy" button at noon, it was immediately replaced with OOS. I repeatedly refreshed the page from 11:40 - 12:30 and it was constantly OOS.

Walmart isn't trying to sell TV's, they're selling W+ memberships. I was gullible too, and paid for the membership, and thought I'd get a TV...at 12 noon, in the middle of the day, when MILLIONS of people were watching this highly promoted sale. Nope. Instead, I got the 55" from another SD post for Target for $199 on Sat night at 2am. Already have the TV in hand. That thread is full of positive experiences.

Granted, one guy said he went into the physical Walmart, and at noon they price matched the TV with the online price, and he walked out with it. Might be the way to go. Otherwise, don't get your hopes up. Another "deal" at noon that sounds "too good to be true".... Fool me once... Just my 2 cents. Good luck!

I bought one of these 3 years ago when it sold for $300. Still going strong.

If they keep it OOS, like it currently is, until noon on the 7th, there's a better chance of getting one. The Hisense deal last month didn't start until 12 noon, but Walmart let those that bought earlier at a higher price get adjustments.

Yup not even trying I gave up after trying on Amazon and Walmarts deal.
Went for the element 58 inch roku tv from target for $200 and it was such a simpler process!

Can someone tell me if I have this Roku tv AND cable, do I have to use separate remotes? Or can I just use my cable remote. (not ready to cut the cord yet) Not sure how this works with cable.
Roku actually has a built in tv tuner, you should look into it. It scans the cable channels, plus other channels Roku gives you and you get your own TV guide too.

Which tv is better? The target Emerson tv for 200 or this one??? I have the target tv on hold for pickup.
TCL is a better brand. In fact it's the best of the Roku tv branded TVs.

I bought the 43" version of this TV at Target recently when they had it for $129.99 minus 10% Target Circle offer. The only issue I have with it is the viewing angle is awful as it washes out quickly when you're viewing at any degree off to the side. If you're viewing it straight on however it looks very good. So as long as you're seated directly in front of it, you shouldn't be disappointed.

These have 4 HDMI (one with eArc) and are AirPlay 2 and HomeKit compatible. The remote that comes with it is only IR, but if you have a standalone Roku with an RF remote, you can easily pair it to this TV. Overall, I've been very happy with the TCL for the price, just be aware it looks all washed out if you're viewing it off center, so make sure your room setup allows for sitting directly in front of it.

Please help me decide.
TCL 55" 55S41 and the one at best buy is 55S455. Can anyone please tell what's the difference between these two?

I own the 55" 4 series for 3 or 4 years now. Gets 2 hours of use per day. Been reliable and the picture quality is very good. Definitely sold on TCL!

Probably store specific models to prevent price matches.

Hmmm I have yet to open that target version... This makes me consider returning it once I secure another TV on sale =\

So even if you get the + membership you're probably not gonna get one?
The + deal last week went out of stock just before the sale and stayed out of stock but magically went back in stock the same day, just after the sale end. Must have had a truckload arrive just after the sale ended. Or they scammed people to join +.

I'm sure this will be like the 58" Hisense scam. Bait to get thousands to sign up for +, a few in stock for less than an hour. OOS the rest of the day and back in stock hours later at full price.
