Walmart isn't trying to sell TV's, they're selling W+ memberships. I was gullible too, and paid for the membership, and thought I'd get a TV...at 12 noon, in the middle of the day, when MILLIONS of people were watching this highly promoted sale. Nope. Instead, I got the 55" from another SD post for Target for $199 on Sat night at 2am. Already have the TV in hand. That thread is full of positive experiences.
Granted, one guy said he went into the physical Walmart, and at noon they price matched the TV with the online price, and he walked out with it. Might be the way to go. Otherwise, don't get your hopes up. Another "deal" at noon that sounds "too good to be true".... Fool me once... Just my 2 cents.

This year, we have confirmed that if you're not able to buy that specific 55" inch TV before they run out of stock from Walmart's website, you can purchase any other 55" TV from Walmart's website, and they will match you the $188 price for the TV you choose. There are some caveats though.
Walmart says you will have to buy the TV and then call their customer service number at 1-800-925-6278 and speak with a representative. Tell them you are a Walmart+ member (non-members are out of luck) and that you tried to purchase the TV but they ran out of stock before you could get yours. (Make sure to purchase and call before 7 p.m. ET when the deal opens up to non-members—after that time, they won't match you.) Let them know you purchased a different 55" TV and ask them to price match it. The representative should know about their price-matching program; if they don't, ask to speak to their manager who should allow you to price match it.
Walmart says this is a "one-time courtesy" for Walmart+ members. They also say if there are no 55" TVs available, they will allow you to purchase a similar size with similar specs. There is some wiggle room for negotiation if there is no clear "similar" TV, but that will depend on who you talk to.
fyi. maybe that could help someone

I've tried this at 5 different Walmarts. All the same.

Walmart is having an early online Black Friday sale on this TCL 55" Class 4-Series 4K UHD HDR Smart Roku TV at 12 p.m. ET on Nov. 7 for Walmart+ members: It'll be $188, marked down from $499 retail price. (Non-members will have access to the deal starting at 7 p.m. ET, but the TVs are very likely to be sold out before then.) In previous years, even folks who signed up for a Walmart+ membership to have access to the deal couldn't get one before they sold out, leaving them without a TV and with a Walmart+ membership they really didn't want in the first place. (A membership is $49 for the the first year and $98 for subsequent years, or $12.95 per month.)
How to still get the deal after the TVs sell out

Then, I tried to use that GC to order the deal to which you're referring. Ordered at 0200. Then, it was cancelled. Ordered a 2nd time a few hrs later. Cancelled again a few hrs later. By this time, item was OOS. Talk about infuriating.

I own all 3 of these tvs. The TLC is nice, but it's not bright, all of my Hisense tvs blow them away. The Amazon Fire tv has a fluid picture and vibrant colors, just a little weak on the blacks.
The Amazon Hisense OLED that I bought last month for my nephew is unbelievable. If it was bigger than 50 inches, I would've kept it for myself
And the TLC has awful sound compared to the Hisense. I'm still looking for a soundbar for it, and I'm the kind of person that keeps their tv on level 5. but this tv has no kick at all. It was worth the $148 2 years ago, but the Hisense for $10 more is a world of difference
TCL 55" 55S41 and the one at best buy is 55S455. Can anyone please tell what's the difference between these two?
