Just to clarify what you wrote, the board game is based on the book, the movies are as well. The book was written in 1981.

I'd like to share my two cents.
I bought this version and returned it back because of the quality (very hard to dear the riddles) It was poorly made.

There is a better version, the electronic version. but it is more expensive. It's now discount as well
