Hoping to get a Sonos but don't have experience and the big obstacle is how I will connect 4 different HDMIs to it (AppleTV and consoles). What do Sonos users typically do for multiple inputs (or is it outputs)?

Streaming Devices -> TV HDMI ports

TV ARC/eARC (or optical to hdmi converter for older TVs) -> Sonos

You'd connect sonos to your TV's Audio Return Channel (ARC) enabled HDMI channel, that way the TV uses HDMI to send audio to your sonos. Sonos do not have multiple HDMI input/outputs like typical receivers do.

Everything goes to the TV and then the sound is passed via EARC to the soundbar. If your TV doesn't have enough hdmi ports you can use an hdmi switch or manually change plugs.

I plug everything into my tv and then one HDMI from there to the Arc. Although my TV doesn't have HDMI 2.1, so I'm not sure if this method would affect that single HDMI from the TV and it's ability to carry that Dolby Atmos audio.
