Plug all inputs into your TV and run Audio Return Channel (ARC) out to your Sonos device.
Wish they'd include the Sub Mini…
Starting on 11/20 Costco will have:

Arc SL for $699.99

Beam (2nd gen) for $359.99

One SL pair for $299.99

These deals are still great for the non SL version if you need that feature.

Here's my two cents. If you are on the fence about buying a sub, don't waste your money. According to Sonos, a sub provides an experience, but it provides no sound. It's supposed to add more bass to your soundbar and vibrate. From my experience, the only vibrating I could experience is if I put my hand inside the sub. I don't need something to vibrate as I live in an apartment. Vibrating in my opinion is not beautiful sound. I also don't watch a lot of movies, mainly TV so I will never get much use from a sub in general. I do like the Beam with my SL's, that is nice. I will be returning my sub as I don't need a $750 brick. I will probably get two more SL's to surround the room if that will work.
I watch lot of movies, just added another sub gen 3 to experience dual sub, and i dont think i can live without them, you have to experience, but if you dont watch movies, i understand

I hear you. A got a sub once for my TV and ended up mothballing it because gosh that low freq sound could travel through the walls and I did not want to disturb the tennant on the other side.

But.....

Some folks claim that with the sub taking over the low freq the arc devotes it's energy to the mids/highs actually making the Arc sound better and letting it get louder. Don't know if that's true as my local brick and mortar has them on display but not hooked up.

Also if you don't watch movies don't bother with gettings Ones for surrounds. They are silent without Surround sound content and annoying for regular TV if it supports surround (like a talk show where the audience laughter randomly sounds behind your head). Really wish they would just let them mirror the TV sound like they can for music so I can have "whole room" audio for more than just movies.

Hard to see any of these prices as deals as a few years ago I got the ones for $90 and my local brick and mortar has had the ars / subs cheaper recentlyh. todays one prices are outrageous even on sale for any upgrades I'll probably go with ikea (recenlty had their one nockoffs for $80. Not as good but I betcha two is better than one one).

I have an arc already, which piece should I get to upgrade next, sub or 2x one SL, and why? Thanks!
I was in your same boat and bought the sub next. Then bought the surrounds and I would 100% do that again. The Arc without the sub is an okay sound bar, but adding the sub is night and day difference. Don't get me wrong, I was surprised with how much the surrounds added, but the bass was by FAR the bigger improvement.

FYI - Capital One has 12% Statement Credit via Sonos.com. May be worth waiting until the 20th (I am).

Do these discounts stack with the upgrade discounts? I assume not...
Anyone know if the upgrade discount can be used with this sale?

This is exactly what I'll be doing. I've never purchased anything from Sonos, during these Holiday sales does it require use of coupon code to get their sale price?

Reason I ask is on my cap 1 offers page the fine print says "not valid with use of coupons". Thanks!

These prices are still too high. Got the Beam 1st gen when they were on sale for $197 and would recommended that if it can be found for a decent price. The sound quality when playing music is pretty good and the sound stage is pretty wide. Don't have personal experiance with the Beam 2 but Consumer Reports scored the 1st and second gen the same.
That was a price mistake by Costco and many people got the order cancelled.

Suppose the following setup:
Apple TV 4k over HDMI to TV.
Sonos Beam Gen 2 to TV over eARC.

Would I have any trouble playing back videos at 1.5x or 2X using the Infuse App on Apple TV? I've seen some people complaining about not getting 2X playback on Sonos products when trying to listen to podcasts from their iPhone, but I am guessing that's because they were trying to connect to a Sonos directly over wireless or something.

It was back in August when Sonos was selling refurbished Beams. Mine looked brand new though. And it was $192, my bad.

If you just use the Capital One App/Website it has a link for "Capital One Offers". Lookup Sono, use their link to send you to Sonos.com, purchase with your Capital One card and you'll receive Statement Credit. No "codes" to enter.

I've used it to purchase Sonos items before, no issue.

Warning on capital one. Its 30% rewards, not cash back and you need to use the email link within 24 hours of receiving it. They won't honor the 30% after 24 hours.
Never had a capital one card, but REI card recently got migrated to them. I saw the post on here and checked out that it's 12% cash statement credit for this card.
