Wow, that's an incredible price! Is this a zgrills rebranded for RK? I doubt it has a PID controller, but neither does mine, and it keeps a very steady temp. Looks just like this one on the Zgrills page for $669.https://www.zgrills.com/collectio...llet-grill

I wish there was a Rural King close to where I live. $270 shipping kind of kills the deal. Great deal for those that can go pick it up though.

So we transported a very similar model in my wife's Forester (hatchback), and it was tight. That said, the shipping box was HUGE--pick pickup-truck bed huge (had my inlaws pick it up from a Medard's store local to them, then we picked it up from them a month later). We took everything out of the box and Tetris-ed back it. It was tight, but also was all in the back area (two kids in the back seats). I'd say your largest two items are the hopper box (roughly 12 x 12 x 20) and the oven body... the legs and other pieces are all flat-pack. As long as that oven body fits in the trunk, then the rest should be able to fit in your back seat.

Never knew so many RK locations were in IL, almost all the stores have them in stock for pickup. Was going to bite, but I told myself earlier in the year next pellet grill I get has to have an easy ash cleanout cup or no deal. Unfortunately this does not so its a pass for me.

This one has a slide out ash shelf that pulls out on the back side. I just picked one up and put it together. I haven't fired it up yet. Look up the model number on you tube and there are several videos that show this for the z grills branded version
