15.94 per TB. Not bad for such high capacity disks.
Usual rule is wait for sub 15/TB but you're not gonna see that at such high capacity drives.

Not bad. Holding out for a good deal on some 20TB drives but if I was in a rush I'd go for this.

18tb drives have been showing up in this price range off and on the last few months. Might be worth waiting if you don't need to buy something today.

I also wouldn't want to buy a two-pack of hard drives because it could be annoying to deal with returns if only one needed replacement, but if the discount were good enough, I'd take the gamble.

Amzn has a pair of 16TB Exos drives for $500. I haven't bought a drive in years but want to get 2 and am too lazy to spend days searching lol. A quick search makes it seem like Exos is better. This is just for home media storage in a desktop. Does that seem like a better option?

Seagate 16TB HDD Exos X16 7200 RPM 512e/4Kn SATA 6Gb/s 256MB Cache 3.5-Inch Enterprise Hard Drive (ST16000NM001G) 2 Pack

EDIT: Ah, nm, it looks like it's some shady seller with a bunch of bad reviews selling obviously opened or used items. Man it sucks that amzn has taken over the world and can now start crapping on us at will. If I wanted to deal with that crap I'd buy it on ebay.

Discover has 5% back for Google Pay/Apple Pay which takes another $25 off the price.

I bought the 2-pack and the bare drives arrived in a box with minimal packing materials so they were moving freely in the box. I returned them immediately.

Something that I've been thinking a lot about is RAID 1 and two drives from the same vendor bought at the same time.

That is to say, it might be a good idea to buy drives from separate stores (or even vendors) in order to get a different production date.

Why? Because in the extremely unlikely case that one fails, I won't be as worried about the other one failing if they weren't siblings at the factory.
