What's really weird is if I go to Account>Shop With Points, I can see all of my enrolled accounts including my Citi card, and on this page it shows me my total points available and the dollar amount it's worth. However when I go to checkout, it says that my points balance is unavailable. I've talked to both Amazon and Citi and they're clueless. Has anyone else run into this?

Do you have to have Amazon Prime to get this deal (the OP mentions "Don't have Amazon Prime").
I'm confused by the message below - if you ask for a statement credit at citi.com, your points are worth 1 cent each (at least, mine are).
But from what the person below says, the points at Amazon are worth LESS than 1 cent. (Their order was $6.58, but they had to spend 822 point. With 822 points, you could get a credit of $8.22 at citi.com.)
Is it correct that your city Thank You points are worth less than one cent each at Amazon?

As I saw comments in other thread. Only use point worth of $1 and you will still get 40% off.
So pay from card. And only 1 point.
