Note this is DDR5 so another 8gb stick is slightly pricier but not by much. 1 nvme slot on the Dell as well if that matters, the Gigabyte has better storage upgradability.

It runs fast and smooth and is cool even when Zooming with a dozen people for a few hours. When gaming on Ginshen Impact, it does get kinda hot within 1-2 hours and have to put in standby mode for 15-30 minutes to cool it down and resume again. The heat is only noticeable when you place your hands on the speakers near the screen. But this depends on the game and how GPU intensive is. I guess having a fan pointed at the laptop would help.
Mine fits 2 2280 NVMes, had to call customer support for the copper heat shield, mounting bracket, and screws to add second NVMe which I believe was $5. On Amazon, the same parts are sold for $20.
I would recommend adding an extra stick of RAM from Crucial to boost some performance in games and prevent swapping RAM to your SSD when out of RAM.
