$149.99 at Microcenter right now, though that doesn't beat 10% back from Amazon Visa.

Just FYI — I understand AMD just put a lot of their products on sale on their site after announcing their new video cards yesterday. if this deal is dead AMD has this processor for $159 with a free Unchartered game. Maybe not as good a deal but close. I do see however that quite a few of their items are already sold out.

I'm pretty sure these retailers could do better due to supposed overstock especially w/ BF approaching.

That's what I'm hoping for. Everything points to a huge drop of retail sales right now, plus a glut of inventory, since computer sales have slowed down after the pandemic. I recently saw a Ryzen 5500 for $99, and Ryzen 5600 for $120. I'm hoping to see the Ryzen 5600 for $115 or less for Black Friday, but if not I'll settle for the Ryzen 5500.

The Ryzen 5600 was on sale for $99 about a month ago or so. I hope to see it that price on BF.

You may want to do your homework on the difference between a 5500 and 5600x. It's not simply a difference of frequencies. I believe there may be memory cache differences.
