i am debating on going to local store in bay area and try.
i am guessing in store price, at a minimum, will be 100 (phone) +20 (AF) +40 (lowest plan) + 10 (tax)=170.
Afraid they will look at me funny if i say my friend raj got if for 128.

Employees are also very help. Not sure, how they gave discount on service & no activation. I paid in cash, not worrying too much.
S21 FE 5G was $99, he gave discount on $40 service plan and no activation fees. I bought this yesterday(11/5)
Receipt says, $699 phone - $600 discount, $22 service fees + rest local tax = $128

perhaps , the promotion has changed temporarily.

apparently they were waiving the in store act fee of 20 over last 2-3 days.
that promotion ended yesterday.
