If you are going to buy this product, just buy Contact Cleaner also to avoid frustrating ghost key presses or volume wheel malfunctions.

Should be around $7-$8

Linear switches are usually the most popular for gaming. Some also come in "speed" varieties that have a shorter travel distance that allows you to spam them faster. That said, I gamed on several types of clicky switches for many years with no problems. I like the tactility and sound of clickies, but recently tried switching to linears and have since come to love the smoothness and deeper, more muted sound. I'd say linear switches would be the best place to start if your use case is primarily gaming and/or if you'll be using the keyboard in a shared space where the noise factor from clickies would be an issue for people around you.
