These 'bonus' cards may or may not be a hot deal. Bonus cards typically have short use dates, are NOT GIFT CARDS and not subject to gift card laws. Many places also consider them 'coupons' and their fine print often say 'not valid with any other coupons or offers' which may include specials.
Therefore, if you can get a $10 off $50 coupon for said restaurant in fliers, mailers, etc, you can't use that with your '$10 Bonus card' meaning you've gained NOTHING by laying out $50 for agift card.

Typically you can only use ONE bonus card per party per visit. So if you get 4 x $20 bonus cards, you'd have to visit 4 times to redeem them in as little as a 60 days period.
IMO Bonus Cards are sketchy and not a great deal. A true discounted Gift Card or extra $ added to the gift card is the definition of a deal that you can use anytime, anywhere with no restrictions on the extra money earn or saved on the gift card itself.
