I have this set. It's really nice. Paired it next to the Parisian Restaurant 10243 and it's a perfect pairing. Little pricey but it is 3k+ pieces.

This is a 10-15 hour build for my 8yo. Either you don't care enough about lego to spend time on it, which is fine of course, or you need to seriously reconsider your work/life balance.
