For gaming, this is not worth it, because of the 3050ti only having 4gb vram and the 3060 being 35-55% faster, for only $100 more (see the helios deal).

If all you need is the cpu and you are not playing any modern AAA games, then maybe this is good enough.

Reviews say it runs really hot and the fans are very loud. Watch Hardware Canucks' review on YT.

I just received this Dell that I ordered when it was at this same price earlier this week. Box arrived damaged but contents appear to be ok. Dell didn't double-box it and it looks like the top edge got caught on something and/or the box got squished. I'll report back after I set it up tonight.

What if you have a really strong GPU but a really weak CPU. Will that impact game performance?

I fell for that once. I thought I was getting a great deal. Now, within a year mine is outdated and worth significantly less than when I bought it. The future always holds better computers and deals.

For those curious, my specs were i7-11800H, RTX 3050, 8GB DDR4 RAM, 256GB SSD. It costed a total of $988 after tax with $250 cashback. Now the DDR5 RAM and i5-12500H with more cores and better performance than my i7-11800H costs $600. Heck, I have once even seen another brand selling 3060 for about the same price but with a worse CPU.
