That's a $303 savings of a gamble. Usually inventory might not be the same in 3 weeks from now when this might occur. If anything I'd buy and ask for a price adjustment if that is the case and they still have this in stock. most reviewers on the website say they got it during the 20% off sale too, leads me think this might not be on the 25% inventory by then

Omega did a major redo of the Speedmaster. It hacks now, finally, and features Omega's Co-Axial Escapement movement. On the outside, they made subtle changes that make it look more like earlier models.

The 25% off sale last occurred Nov 25th, 2021. They offer a 20% discount every month or two. It happens fairly regularly, but not necessarily when you'd expect it. AAFES doesn't seem to stock these watches. They order them and they normally ship directly from Omega. I think they get some sort of allotment that they can sell and then no more. If you get one from direct AAFES, it was probably a store return (my local BX has one right now).

Their inventory is just now coming back. A few weeks ago, they didn't have Speedmasters at all. They also ran out of several different Seamaster offerings. So, if you want to wait for 25%, you are safe in doing so...sort of.

Not sure why the downvote on my original reply, is the price not competitive? Do you know another authorized reseller or someone who drop ships direct from Omega at this price (not even factoring in zero sales tax)? Chrono24 has the Speedmaster at $6k which seems like the going rate now.
