That's a great deal for the Sapphire. And for anyone who doesn't know, the Sapphire has all the same specs as the Pro plus the Sapphire screen.

The regular fenix 6 is on clearance for $180 at Gamestop. It's showing OOS online but you can go instore and ask them to order it for you. I got mine this way. Good luck!

Just a heads up - no need to price match elsewhere - Amazon has it for $349:

There have been multiple better deals on the 6 Pro recently, and the 6X Pro for the same price in recent weeks. 6 Pro has been down to $315.

First one specifically for the sapphire I've seen though. The description here is lacking, even on Sam's website. Is this the 6S? It's got the smallest face of the bunch, which I don't want.
This is the middle sized watch face. Sapphire is the way to go. My bezel on my 5x Sapphire is covered in scratches and the screen still looks as good as new.

Y'er right… I have that issue sometimes in trusty but rusty 5x. I have turned off notifications anyways and when charging, I lay face down and it works perfectly. Worth the try.
You have better luck than me Smilie. I've now wrapped it up in a ball to keep the cord taut and say a prayer. Lol

This is a great deal. I paid near full price for a 6 Pro (minus REI dividend) when it came out and I really don't have any complaints. I bought this for the long haul after being pleased with multiple generations of Vivoactive watches and I haven't seen anything worthy of upgrading yet.

My wife keeps asking me if I want an Apple Watch Ultra and I really don't. The expanded 36 hour battery life is still amateur hour compared to the 10 days (in smartwatch mode with continuous HRM and PulseOX as I sleep) I get with my Garmin three years later. Not to mention, with the software/firmware updates, I've really been impressed with the advanced training and sleep metrics. Apple has taken a while to integrate sleep tracking, and their metrics (my wife has a S8) just aren't there yet. The few times I've done adventure activities worth of a Fenix (hiking, skiing, gravel cycling) I've been really impressed with the built in mapping capabilities.

Image on Sam's website shows the 6, FWIW. I hate that Garmin made so many models, it is definitely tricky to know the differences and ensure you're getting what you want.

Edit: Also Sam's site says 1.3" display which is the 6.
So is that smaller one or regular size?

Does anyone else just absolutely hate the Garmin charging cable?
I have the 5 Sapphire, and I dread having to charge it. It has to be juusstttt right or else it doesn't charge. If I get a notification that makes the watch vibrate...it's over, the cable moved just enough to stop it charging. Drives me crazy.
I find after a good cleaning of the contacts with rubbing alcohol my charging is much more reliable

I freaking do. They can do a capable watch but they can't design or fix their charging cable. I ended buying a pair of charging cables from Amazon and it really helps. I hope they will last long.

The main drawback imo, is the lack of touch screen on Fenix 6 models. Not sure why they omitted that when watch touch screen functionality was available more than 5 years ago.

Try cleaning the charging pins on the watch with rubbing alcohol. Charges like new again

Awesome deal. I've had mine for 2 + years. Very solid watch with lots of features and the battery life is 14 days.
