About the game:- Fire up a wild ride across the cosmos with a fresh take on Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. In this third-person action-adventure game, you are Star-Lord, and thanks to your bold yet questionable leadership, you have persuaded an oddball crew of unlikely heroes to join you. Some jerk (surely not you) has set off a chain of catastrophic events, and only you can hold the unpredictable Guardians together long enough to fight off total interplanetary meltdown. Use Element Blasters, tag-team beat downs, jet boot-powered dropkicks, nothing's off-limits. If you think it's all going to plan, you're in for a world of surprises, with the consequences of your actions guaranteed to keep the Guardians on their toes. In this original Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy story, you'll cross paths with powerful new beings and unique takes on iconic characters, all caught in a struggle for the galaxy's fate. It's time to show the universe what you're made of. You got this. Probably.

Guessing they need to unload PS5 inventory because the installed 5 base is still too small compared to 4.

Yeah probably, and the PS4 version comes with the PS5 upgrade anyways. I got that version over the PS5 when they had the Cosmic Deluxe Edition for $20 (the same price as the PS5 which they didn't make that version for).
It is a really fun game, the gameplay was probably the worst part of the game and I still had a blast. Great story, characters, dialogue, etc.

I actually bought the game last year when it was on sale for $20. But unfortunately due to lack of time I never could get round to playing it. And soon after it came on those subscription platforms. Thats $20 I wish I hadn't spent. 😞
This week GameStop had 50% extra trade-in and so I took a risk and traded it in early without having played it. It didn't get me much (just under $5.) But I figured since I have both game pass and ps plus premium, I should be able to play it before it leaves. Thankfully these services announce games leaving a month in advance. So I don't anticipate it getting removed before the year is up. Even if I had kept the game, I would have traded it in immediately after finishing it.
So hopefully my gamble pays off and I end up saving a dollar or two. Heard good things about the game. Looking forward to playing it (right after I finish Bayonetta 3 and God of War Ragnarok).
