went to their insta on phone. at the top is a "view shop" button. selected the product i wanted. and added to cart. The 20% showed up, the 40% didnt show until i went to checkout. I cant recreate now as either the 20% is removed or youre only allowed one per account

Make sure to get all the way to checkout. The 40% shows up as a Seller's discount when itemized with tax and delivery fee. The 20% discount shows up separately after tax and delivery fee.

Welp, not working for me. Instagram site is "jones_sports_co" right? I just went to the view shop. Added the bag I wanted "Trouper R - Clay Green" no discounts. Went to check out, still no discount. Checkout total is $318.44

Yea I got all the way to the pay now button with my total at $318.44 .... smh zero discounts applied for me through Instagram

I almost pulled the trigger, but I'm not sure I golf enough to justify the cost. How does it compare to a discounted Maxfli bag from Dick's? I see some for less than $100.

Obviously its all subjective, but most golfers who are buying this bag (or know the brand) probably care more about their gear more than someone who is gaming 10 year old clubs, or even buying the costco callaway set which is often posted on SD. Nothing against either player. This bag is made from recycled materials, from a US company that has great designs. But in terms of pure function, in the end it serves the same purpose as a $100 maxfli Bag. If you don't care about the way you look, and want to spend as little as possible rock out with the Maxfli. But imo, the Trouper R for half off is a steal.

A few notes about the new Jones bags: (1) They are now left-handed. When carrying the bag on your right shoulder, you do not have access to the side pocket with your water and the umbrella sits uncomfortably on your hip. Both the umbrella and side pocket we accessible when carrying on your right shoulder with the original bags. (2) The side pocket now has an inside zipper that lets them use their embroidery machine; however that inside zipper is super thin and tiny and breaks almost immediately when carrying water bottles. (3) The strap, while better than it was for a few years, is still not as wide or as padded as the original strap.

Jones bags are still my favorite bag; but I have resorted to duct tape on the old bags.
