The S 803 speakers sound very nice to me and have received decent reviews for their price range. I have not tried the S 801 or S 81 so I cannot speak to them.

To save a lot more money, instead of that receiver just find a used or open box.

You only need 5 channels and no Atmos, paying way over double for a receiver for these is way overkill and a waste IMO.
