The S 803 speakers sound very nice to me and have received decent reviews for their price range. I have not tried the S 801 or S 81 so I cannot speak to them.

So, I am guessing this is a badge engineered Klipsch set - the ones that usually goes on sale for $250? Klipsch, who owns Jamo, has a great rep and although this is an entry level sound system it's regarded a well worth the money.

Actually, you should be spending the most amount of money on your speakers, if you're after the best sound possible. The difference in electronics is minimal compared to the speaker difference.
