This was a little cheaper last week 🤔 Lenovo isn't combining the military discount with this coupon. No EXTRA5 either.

It was not. Last week it was $1105 without any coupon and only EXTRA5 worked, bring it to $1056. Let's not spread misinformation.
By the way, EXTRA5 is not a stackable coupon and never works on top of another main coupon. The cheapest price was 3 weeks back at $935 with a different coupon + HOLIDAYSURPRISE stackable coupon.

FYI if you add $46.01 to your cart you can use HOLIDAYOFFERS for an extra $40 off. ($1000+)

I added the B515 backpack ($16.99) and the 2 year accident protection ($44) to get there.

Great deal especially when combined with Chase 5% paypal quarterly back & big r rebate.

I'm at around $775 + tax after Amex offer, signup coupon for ($20 off $500 purchase) and R10 cashback. I believe an extra year of warranty with Amex as well. Pretty sure I'll pull the trigger. I was just hoping to get some airline miles (e.g. 6X American Airlines) instead of R10, but who knows if/when those portal payouts will increase...

I've only been monitoring FP deals for a Legion Slim 7/7i. Only came across this deal since I happened to see it in a forum header. Why isn't this a FP deal?

Not really a gamer, just like the Legion build/keyboard. Under $1k, it seems like a FP deal. The 3050 is not much but I rate it higher than the Intel 370M ARC (Linus reviews). Costco has the Slim 7i with 370M for $1199. I would prefer the Intel 12700H but this is more than $200 less.

The fact that it was lower with a different code suggests that the price could go lower. A "real" Black Friday could push this, one or two hundred $ lower. Or perhaps a higher spec'ed model could be pushed under $1k level ie 12700H with 3060. Will wait.

The fact that it can be powered by a USB-C 100W charger is a plus for this model and people who aren't gamers.

There isn't a Slim 7 that isn't a legion that comes with a 3060 I'm pretty sure.

It was never lower. The previous front page was $975. Some coupons got it to $935 a few days later but if you add $46.01 to cart you can get it even lower.

Oh geez, this is a non-Legion Slim 7. Didn't know Lenovo had that variation. The problem with this is that it's the same weight (4.5-4.6lb) as the Legion Slim 7 version. What's the point of having 2 variation if the non-gaming version is as heavy as the gaming version? Gaming is going to be heavier due to cooling thermals components that will weigh more but if it's the same weight, prob just simpler to have one brand.

Just a heads up, the memory is soldered and there's no extra slot. For most 16gb will be fine. If you need more than 16 you already know.
