This is a good deal but it comes with Homebase 2. The cameras themselves are GREATLY enhanced by Homebase 3... Facial Recognition, Vehicle ID, way better archive browsing, etc. Just don't expect any resale value out of the homebase. Good deal for 2 cameras though.

i bought this last year from Amazon and had to returned twice.

1st return, one of 2 cameras would not pair with home base.
2nd return, one of 2 cameras lost connectivity with home base

so it's a big hit or miss, so when you receive your cameras, put them to use immediately

that goes with anything electronic. you want to catch any defect in the warranty stage.

One thing about Eufy. Good or bad, I'm betting this will come to you in not the best of condition. I mean probably dirty or dusty at least. I've had some warranty returns with them, and the replacements were not even cleaned a little bit I'm guessing. I just hope they repair and test before they send them out again.
I'm really not sure how good a deal this is. I'm not hearing a lot of Hooray. Can these be used without the home base. I haven't a clue what it's for. I assume that's where the recordings go.

Agreed. I recently bought the refurbed 2c cameras - the home base was DOA. Odd to have it completely dead since these things should have been tested. Physical condition was like new.

Need just the EufyCam2 cameras as I have a homebase 2. Any suggestions or anyone think BF would be a better time to buy.
