I would definitely consider this except I am waiting to see if my 77 G2 for $2450 from yesterdays Lowes deal will ship out still.

Unfortunately, yes. BF deals are on mass market, low-midrange TVs, not top-notch brand name TVs like this one. You probably have to wait until the C3 is introduced next March to get the C2 at $2K.

I ordered both, and set the Amazon delivery for a week after the expected Lowe's delivery date. That way, I can cancel the Amazon order if Lowes actually comes through.

Yes I have when I bought ecogear mount. had to install a 77" LG C1. The option said they can mount UpTo 55", had to help the installer guy lift the tv, but it seems that he did a good job since the tv is still where it was mounted Smilie. Also I tipped the guy $20 and he was very happy.
