These are carbide tipped blades, not standard. The list price is bs, they go for about 15 bucks. Home Depot currently has these at the same price.

Just because retailer puts out a ridiculous list price doesn't automatically makes this a deal. 6-7 bucks is what I consider normal price for a 7 1/4 blade.

The diablo 2 pk goes on sale around $10 once or twice a year I stock up on those and haven't even had to replace a single blade yet. They're also carbide tipped. This seems over priced.

im new to diy and woodworking, is 24t good for general cutting? im considering getting a 40t blade vs just use the 24t that comes with my new circular saw.

plenty of resources out there on this.

The lower the teeth, the quicker it'll cut but the less clean it'll cut. Finer cuts need more teeth. Then you have tooth geometry and so on so it's best to just read up on it.

Most people using a circular saw aren't going to for fine cuts so the majority of blades out there are going to be 24-40t.

A farmer on youtube just tested blades last month. Winner for clean wood is the makita and it happens that amazon has a 3 pack for $17 right now.

Keep in mind these are super thin Kirf and do not hold up to any abuse…they are super fast cutting.
