Imho it's far better. I've had a fire stick and hated using it. Poor performance in navigation. Very barebones.

The chromecast is snappy and voice assistant actually works.

Walmart also has them for $18. I got it with free shipping. However I am a Walmart+ member so non members may have to either have a min spend, pay shipping, or pick up in store. The sale price however is now open to everyone not just Walmart+ members.
