I appreciate the input and will put ours through its paces for certain.
I still feel definitely worth a tryout for nugget ice at this price. I have not seen any nugget ice maker this low.

Whatever the case, easy Costco returns. Sounds like odds are still good that you will either like it or get it refunded/exchanged if problems or if you don't like it.
I read the 1-star reviews on Costco just now. A few are about shipping damage. One is due to wrong measurements listed (now corrected). Additionally, several with only the rating with no review comments. I will not cancel mine.

This is the same one on Amazon.
Amazon reviews have a much lower percentage of 1-stars, and a 4-star avg.:

This is more for occational use. When switch off for the night, ice is gone in the morning. Good for parties.

Excellent! Been wanting a nugget ice maker; this is less than a 1/3 of the cost of the GE Opal and basically does the exact same thing! Costco peace of mind is a super bonus!

Wow, great price. My mom bought this and loves it. I just got the GE Opal 2.0 but may return and get this. The Opal was $500 and still a little tough to spend that much on ice Smilie

yup couldnt pass up for the price. The cheapest nugget ice maker I think I've ever seen is around 300 and if it doesn't live up to expectation then Costco returns are generally very easy.

Don't do it... This model has a flaw it leaks half a gallon a day. If you look at the amazon reviews multiple people have leaking issues. I owned the previous model for 3 years with no issues. I tried tilting it and other suggestions nothing worked.

I personally have moved over to the models that have nugget ice that you scoop from above, they are easier to use without spilling ice, and the drawer drips every time you pull it out on this model too.

We own this model. This is a steal at this price. Works great, but be advised that is much larger than it looks in pictures. Not as big as the GE one but still quite large and tall.
