Lowest price ever for this sound bar via Samsung EPP/EDU program. 24 month interest free financing comes out to $10.78 a month with tax which is crazy. If you were ever going to jump on this, now is probably the time. I can't see this going sub $200 even for Black Friday. This particular caliber of bar probably has hit it's all time low and won't go below IMO.
Chase credit cards has 5% cash back for select accounts right now FYI. Not sure about other cards or rebate sites.
I bought the Q800B from last deal ($479.99) and it's in a big open space room. The sound is impressive. I'll compare this one to that when I get it.

So the 700b bar is like jet black and the 800b has more of a charcoal color. Both look good. They are the same length but the 700b is slightly shorter in terms of height and the ends are just capped whereas the 800b has the side firing speakers at the far reaches of the unit. As for the subs they are night and day design wise. The 800b looks more modern and is obviously larger compared to the 700b
Sound
Alright so I tested both systems on hdmi earc with Q symphony enabled. I put on a movie called underground 6 on Netflix which has atmos. I ran the same car chase scene like 10x on each one. My conclusion is this: Both bars (in my space) sound VERY similar. The subs, despite the size, aren't that far off from each other. I'm not sure the 800b is worth the $479 price tag I paid (which is the lowest it's ever been) so it's still double the $239 of the 700b. Simply put Im not getting double the sound value or even close. It's like a 15% better sound from the 800b on the bar maybe a 20% increase on the sub. Definitely not enough for someone like me to really notice. Kind of disappointed that the performance is this alike because I wanted my 800b to win.
Your results might very depending on your room setup. Since I'm in wide open space the side firing speakers might not even be doing justice in the 800b and could sound a lot better than the 700b if I was in an enclosed space. You'll have to fk around for yourself. The 800b is going back and I'm buying a second 700b for the same price of the single 800b

It was on the credit card under offers. They have like 50+ deals and you scroll through to find chase and if you have it. Mine is 5% back up to $45. I used it on the Q800b as well
How do you figure? This is the same as the HW-Q7CB from Costco which is $350.

Most of us have credit lines with Samsung from past large purchases such as tv's and since it's zero percent, well, time value of money…better off in my pocket than theirs
