One of the best alternatives to Adobe, particularly for those who need the overall utility of that suite but can live without specific Adobe workflows or newer tools. Professionals who collab may not be able to live without Adobe, but for hobbyists or solo freelancers, this can certainly cover a ton of people without needing a subscription.
Already had V1, but I jumped on this to support Affinity. They've provided very good products that not only compete with Adobe, but they aren't subscriptions.
As a private individual you can install Affinity apps on as many devices as you own which run the operating system you have purchased a license for (of course in the case of a Universal License that means you can install on any iPads, Macs or Windows PCs you own). Other people (for example, members of your household) are also allowed to use the apps on those devices. However, only you are allowed to use the apps for commercial use—if any members of your household need to make commercial use of the apps as well they will need to purchase their own license.
For commercial enterprises, education and other multi-user situations, each license can either be assigned to an individual or a device. For example, one Windows license could be used by a single employee on both their Windows desktop and laptop computer. Alternatively, that license could be assigned to a single Windows computer which is used serially by multiple employees.

Is this a lightroom or photoshop alternative? Also, will it have profiles for cameras and lenses?
Photoshop alternative - they are rumored to be building a Lightroom alternative, but this program is closest to Photoshop with deep editing tools and less focus on catalog organizing.

Serif makes great software! I've been using these for a couple of years now. Version 2 is even better. Unless you need to work in an Adobe environment, it's an excellent option.
Any idea on the licensing if we buy this pack? How many machines can we install it on? How many machines can we use it on? (big difference between the two -- especially if we have multiple personal machine that are used one at at time)

You can look it up on their site. But think it is install on all machines you own. But only use on one machine at time. At least for the universal license.

What held me back from purchasing this before is not being able to use it between my two Mac and pc setups. This is a big deal for me and the ultimate version is a no brainer as I don't need to pay adobe for light personal use.
