I can't recommend the Battle Academy set enough for anyone looking to get into the card game, especially if you have kids who enjoy Pokemon. It walks you through everything, explains the cards, and includes a board that shows you where everything goes and has reminders about what to do each turn. Highly recommended.

Ty! Awesome was pricing decks and I know nothing about this game but my kids want it lol. Almost bought the Costco one for $70 and they don't know how to play it so this works out much better if it's just a fad for them!

I know people are pretty hesitant to buy Pokemon anything from Amazon, because a lot of their stuff is resealed with any valuable cards taken out and replaced with garbage. I don't think these are as valuable as the normal packs, but just something to be concerned about.

It's important to note that only the Eevee deck is really usable outside of this; the cards in the other two decks are numbered (printed on the card itself) so that you can play out the tutorial situations.

Great product for getting into the game! The biggest downside to getting this is now I've bought 6 more ready to play decks! But it's a blast with my 7 year olds!
