Not sure buying safety critical mtb parts of Amazon is a good idea. Hard to distinguish between fake and legit.

Nah, man. That's what a name brand 7075 alloy handlebar costs. You are probably comparing to some Chinese direct-to-consumer brand using 6061 aluminum. Those are about $30. So, $50 for better alloy from a reputable brand makes it a smarter purchase.

With that said, I recommend skipping this and getting a Salsa Rustler handlebar. It has an 11 degree backsweep that just feels natural in my hand. The 8 degree backsweep of the deal one is pretty standard for a mountain bike, so it's decent, but most people's wrists would be happier with a little more if they take their bikes on long rides.

That's not a comparable handlebar. 6061 alloy bars cost nearly half of what 7075 bars do.

Not nearly the same quality and only 3° backsweep...ouch!

But hey, even though it could make riding miserable, you save $30.

I purchased one of these for use on my Dualtron when I installed the carbon modz dual carbon fiber steering column and overall have been very happy with it. Especially considering I was able to snag it on sale for $18!

it was a few years ago. now the heavy entry level bars are 40 and 50 for a quality butted bar like this one is a good deal. the next or next R carbon bar use to be 99 all the time too now it's $130 on sale or 180 normally
