I do not own this particular one but my experience has been very good with Samsonite products. They do build quality products.

I bought this a few years back. It's solid. Took it on multiple overseas trips to New Zealand and Fiji. Also use it for work. Carries 2 laptops and other things without issues. Can't go wrong there for a brand name quality backpack.

I have bought similar backpack models from Samsonite as my son's school bag in high school. It is beat up every day overloaded with laptop, tablets, thick math and programming books and this thing held. He finally retired it after 3 years in favor of an Oakley bag. No it didn't break in 3 years. He just got tired of using and looking at it.

I bought it back then and truly hate it. The main issue is the zippers. It's hard to explain, but they get caught at weird angles constantly and you have to kind of reposition them to pull them. It's not something I've ever gotten used to or found a way around.
