I think there's a statistic that the best deals are before black friday. black friday deals are kinda garbage items that get you in the door in my experience. slickdeals happen at 2am from a price mistake 😏

Just some food for thought. I bought a B8 from a slick deals dell about 4 or 5 years ago. I love the TV but always wondered about a C series as the price is so close every now and then. Also my TV developed burn in the youtube app about a year ago not terrible but noticeable. Just random thoughts.

man this is too good. i been eyeing the c2 but the b2 brightness seems perfect and about the same. I don't know that the EVO panel is worth that extra $500.

plus the citi extra warranty ends next year.

Forgive me for asking, but are you certain it's burn-in, and not just image retention?

Back in the day, I used a plasma for gaming and noticed image burn-in after a while, which the set's built-in fixer didn't fix after a couple of days running it. So I passed the set to my parents who wouldn't have noticed the problem at all. Sure enough, it was just image retention, which had disappeared about a year later after giving it away.

It must have been an early plasma, the late and mid gen plasmas mostly negated the burn-in (and image retention is not burn in as you said, most people mistakenly think it is burn in).
