I considered this a while ago and I'm sure it's a great Gen 3 drive, but today this "deal" is mediocre IMO. If this is a BF deal, it's definitely a hard pass. The 990 (still Gen 4) is now available at an overly inflated and bloated $289, and the 980 Pro is currently $219, but Samsung is crazy if they think the old Gen 3 should be $170 as a BF deal.

I'll wait for another SK Hynix P-31 at $159, or a Gen 4 P-41 slightly higher...
