Thanks. The color I'd most like is still in stock, but the price went back up. So maybe it was a PDay sale? And yes, all clearance items. I'll just keep checking back. I've been wearing one pair all morning and they're comfortable and well made, so at this price, it's worth getting a few pairs since, in my experience, it's hard to find comfortable attractive shoes and when you wear them out you always regret not having bought another pair. I'll have to check on the Clear the Racks sales.
My post didn't exactly say what I meant to say. The Clear the Racks sale and the Presidents Day sale were probably the same thing. They usually run the Clear the Racks on holiday weekends when the timing is right. So I don't know when the next one would be. It has to be before Easter. (They don't always coincide with holiday weekends but often.)

My local Dominos went up to $8.99 for a large pizza with the coupon. The Dominos website still has the $7.99 coupon but I don't know how to get that price with the tip. When I use the tip it goes to the local menu.

If you like Quaker Instant Oatmeal, Ralphs has it for $1.49 in tomorrow's ad. I saw $2/2 q's on a Quaker display the last time I was in the store making them $.49 ea.

Vons has a $2.49 coupon in tomorrow's ad for Snuggle. It says one time use and excludes the dq but not the paper q. It doesn't say anything about how many you can get with the in-ad q. Is there a limit?
Tip page link, takes to build order, scroll down and under beverages is a coupons box to click. If you are not signed in, this may prompt you to sign in.
If the coupon for the $7.99 one item isn't there, it is possible that your store is no longer participating, but both offers may show up.
There is a text with a code from Feb 3rd for a 1-topping large of 9220
Perhaps that will work.

If you arent opposed to used shoes check Poshmark and eBay. I can generally get $100+ shoes shipped for $30 or less. They are almost always basically new. For Birkenstocks its easy to check both the sole and the tread for wear. For other types of shoes look at the tread especially good, blow it up as much as you can to check for wear. And on Posh never just buy something right when you see it (unless maybe it is a limited edition and youve been searching for it for a while). If you arent comfortable making an offer at least like the item and see if they make an offer for something off. An offer will often come within a day. When a seller makes an offer it usually comes with reduced shipping too.

Thanks for the tip. I used to buy shoes from ebay all the time. These boots were on ebay for around $200 and then I just did a web search and found them for less at NordstromRack. Both were for new boots, but the free shipping and ease of returns plus cheaper price made NR a no brainer. (There is a nearby store and returns are free of shipping costs if you drop them off) These boots retail for just under $600, so getting them for a little over $100 is a deal. I don't buy shoes that often but all of my boots died a couple years ago and I have been searching for decent replacements since. When I find some that I like and that are a good deal, I usually buy a couple pairs and then don't have to worry for another 10 years. These are good sturdy rubber soled hiking boots.

I got a pair, then after they arrived, I found they were reduced by an additional 40%. They don't do price modifications at NordstromRack. I have no idea why. I had to rebuy the boots and do a return for the ones I bought. I was about to buy some more at the additional 40% off and then found the reduction was no longer available. So I suffered from being a n00b on NordstromRack. I still have the first pair and have a small window of time remaining to do a return. If I can get the same boots for another reduced price, I'll return the more expensive pair, but given I was originally happy with that price, I may just keep them. It's all a question of timing and hoping they get reduced again.

Incidentally, these are a replacement for a pair I bought 10 years ago at zappos. I loved the old ones and they were so expensive but I watched the site like a hawk. I guess they do price reductions on Wed. So I bided my time and got them for around $100 by waiting and pouncing on them when reduced. That's probably more about my shoe shopping habits than anyone wanted to know, but since many of the winter styles are going on sale, this is a good time to be checking those sites for reductions.

I don't know if you should keep the $100 pair or not. I kind of think you should if you LOVE them. I was looking at the March/April calendar to try to psychic-ly predict the date of the next big sale. Sometimes they do throw other sales in, but the Clear The Racks is fairly regular. Easter in in early April.

Here's the thing though, when I used to work in the retail clothing business, there were huge sales about a week before Easter, because people used to get dressed up for church and for pictures and family get-togethers. So my best guess would be a very big sale starting the week BEFORE Easter and running though Easter Monday. This is just a wild guess though. You can't count on my speculation and you can't count on the boots still being there.

Those must be beautiful boots. Good luck with whatever you choose.

Anybody remember this?

These boots are made for walkin'
And that's just what they'll do
One of these days these boots
are gonna walk all over you
Yes and wasn't it in a commercial too?

I just checked and it was Goodyear. Did you know that the FBI used the song to torture David Karesh in the 1993 Waco standoff? They played it over and over again in the hope that he would give himself up. It would've worked on me. lol
