I was looking at next week's CVS ad and they have a get $5 wyb $20 deal. They have a bunch of different items with a limit of 1. Is it just one deal with everything included or are there a bunch of different $5/$20 deals? The Colgate stuff is confusing, too. Is there just one $3/2 digital coupon or multiple ones? It doesn't look like a very good ad to me but it was late last night and I was tired so maybe it's better than I think.
I haven't looked at the ad yet, but you can tell if it's lots of items within one 'spend $20, get $5' deal or if it's lots of different ones by looking at the deal number listed in the ad. If the items are all part of one deal, the number will be the same.

There are multiple Colgate $3/2 digital coupons this week, one for Toothpaste and one for Toothbrushes and Mouthwash. Since they don't expire until next Saturday, if you use them this week they may not be available next week.

There was a pizza place that I went to years ago back when they had that big coupon book that gave you discounts on various places. One of the sections in the restaurant was called The Sinatra Room but I couldn't figure out why they named it that. I didn't want to ask because I might've got shot or something. That's all I've got. I never went back, I never found out, and I don't remember anything about the pizza.
It always comes back around to pizza...

I'm sure it was. I think it was for a tire company.
I wouldn't call these boots "beautiful." But they have thick comfortable rubber soles and they are water resistant so you could wear them in the rain and snow. Just avoid big puddles. They are fleece lined so warm, also. They're made in Canada. Nothing fancy but fine for casual wear.

And I think that 45 was the first record I bought. Nancy Sinatra. "hear that boots? well let's get walkin'" And, yeah, you could kick some butts with these boots. They are sturdy enough. I'm on the fence about keeping the 3rd pair. I'd feel lots better if they were 40% off. I am glad I waited though since they were initially a little snug but they have stretched out really well with a day's wear, so they're clearly going to be very comfortable and last a good while.

I was thinking that since I like These Boots are Made for Walking, it wouldn't be a great song to torture me with. I mean, I wouldn't want to hear it constantly, but there are tons of songs that would be much worse.

I think the first 45 I bought was either Hot Stuff or Call Me. Probably Hot Stuff.

Id think anything would seem like torture on repeat after a long enough time.

Pretty sure my first 45 was Disco Duck.

If I was a right wing terrorist, a continual blast of Disco Duck at high volume would make me more than likely to surrender!

I don't want to dis anyone's song choices, we all like what we like. However, I'll share this. In college my roommate's mom asked her to make a tape recording of a continual loop of the Beach Boys' song Kokomo (don't know how you spell it, I believe it was featured in a Tom Cruise movie about bartenders). The story was that my roommate's aunt needed the tape, because that song was the only thing that relaxed her. I don't think there are many songs that I hate, most of them I indifferent to (unless they are about hot sex or prostitution, apparently, if you go by my early record choices). I can't stand the Kokomo song, and listening to that over and over again always seemed like my idea of torture

I think you can take a song you like and ruin it by constant repetition. I once had a job in the seasonal dept of a department store and they basically ruined John Denver for me by playing the same album over and over and over again! Disco Duck is cute, but I think that would be pretty hard to listen to for hours at a time.

Thanks for the info. CVS sure makes their ads confusing if you don't know how to read them. I just spent the last 3 days in the hospital. Chest pains once again. I passed my stress test and my stent is still open but I have to start taking my heart drugs again. They throw me for a loop so I'm not sure how much shopping that I'll be doing from now on.

When I was in the hospital, I watched a lot of the Murdaugh trial. That guy was amazing. He'd win these massive settlements for people who were injured in car accidents and collect a fee in the millions but that wasn't enough for him. He'd have to rip them off, too. He used all his money to pay for his opioid addiction. He's accused of killing his wife and son. His defense is that he admitted to all of the bad things he did (after he lied about them first) but he would never kill his family. Yet he's here and his wife and son are dead.
Sorry you had to go back into the hospital, I do hope they'll figure out how to make your drugs work wthout such a bad mpact.

Murdaugh is a work of art. I've read the Netflix documentary exposes some things that haven't been shared anywhere else, and my brother said it was really good. I haven't seen more than a few snippets from the trial thus far, but I would have never been chosen for his jury.
