Don't punish me too harshly but could I add this with the solar mount I already have? It doesn't do enough or anything maybe, to extend battery life but wasn't sure if adding this in addition would work (if physically possible).

Damn, I was hoping this was for the cameras too. I ended up wiring my wireless doorbell, it was very easy

Anyone ever tried this on another battery doorbell product, like Wyze?

Wyze is not battery powered. If you wanted to use these for other cameras you could but you would need to cut the connector and splice a new one

I believe all the floodlight cameras from Ring are wired. Unless you meant the spotlight ones. This should work for those. I have the non-spotlight stick-up cam and I never have to change the battery anymore.

The thing has worked surprisingly well with the Ring spotlight cam so far, I got tired of using the ladder to remove the batteries, manually charge then return vice versa, but this solar device, has kept both batteries I put in it at close to 100% for 2 years so far, and recently took hurricane Ian with 100+ winds for several hours without damage or failure so was worth it

Just for clarification this particular model will NOT work on spotlight cams as they have a different power connector. If you look closely, there are spade connectors that will only connect to the listed Ring doorbells.

I have 5 of these on cams and a doorbell for about 4 years and they keep everything fully charged. I do live in a sunny climate so I'm sure that helps.

I installed mine (Long Island NY) on Oct 8...I'm at 33% right now so I agree it seems meh. I thought maybe I pinched the wire on install but I think it just needs more sun.
