had to throw mine out because my vet said hard toys aren't
good for dogs teeth even though they like htem.

We took one of our dogs to a board certified dentist and she advised us to ditch the hard toys as well. They make the pups happy though and in the grand scheme of things, we decided to let the dogs have them.

Thx, I had a 25% off coupon for it and subscribe and save so paid 3.95 after tax! My lab loves this toy, one of the few that lasted longer then a few days Smilie . We have been waiting for it to go on sale again, thx op!

Similar one of these that was made from something like plastic. My dog didn't really like it at all. I'm excited to try this one

My dog much prefers the Mesquite flavored one, but haven't been able to find a deal on that one in a while. The "plain" one is still her go to chewie when the BBQ one isn't around..

I know the one you are talking about that is very plasticky even though it claims to be wood. This one is much more wood content so I think you and the dog will like it much better.

My dog loved this, but small pieces of the material breaks off and get stuck to all of our fabrics (blankets, couch cushions, etc). Would cause lots of coughing and hacking up of the pieces.

Much bigger fan of the buffalo horns without filling, although those can chip in long pieces that aren't safe to digest.

DO NOT BUY. I purchased one a few years ago when they were on sale. My dog got extremely sick. After a bit of research, I found many other people whose dogs also got sick. Never let a dog chew something that falls apart as they chew. With things like nylabone, this is mainly to avoid choking, but this toy disintegrates into sawdust that dogs will lick up and swallow, perhaps before you even notice. This will cause dogs to vomit or worse. Just read some of the one star reviews on amazon and ask if it is worth saving a few bucks. Roll the dice and you might have a significant vet bill on your hands.
