I've owned quite a few earbuds but these are by far my favourite. If you care about comfort and having ambient sound, these are about as good as they come. The Sony Linkbuds is its only competitor and the tradeoff is basically that Samsung is more comfortable and the Linkbuds has better ambient sound. Now these fall off somewhat easily (though still better than a lot) and I would say as long as you're walking, you're fine, if you're running then they'll probably fall off.

Anyway, buy these if comfortability is your number one priority or ambient sound. Also, if you feel like they're uncomfortable then you probably put them on wrong which is easy to do as they are shaped very different. So pay attention to the instruction manual.

Do NOT buy for sound quality. They are above average but nothing crazy.

Do NOT buy for noise cancellation. It's slightly better than not having any but that's it.

I personally will give up those two for the ability to wear something comfortable for hours than having something hurt my ears after 20 min of usage, that's why I love these. Anyway just know what you're buying here otherwise you'll get disappointed.
Is this really a deal? I remember getting it for $42 around a year ago.
Samsung had really good deals with like trade ins for any wired earbuds. There were also deals that included free galaxy buds live with a galaxy tab s7+ 256gb for only $400 around march 2021.

Still hoping for deals on the Watch5 BT 44mm. Costco had a great sale the last week of October and I thought it would stay the same or lower around BF but no luck so far. Really hoping it comes down under $250 at most places by next week.

Just got these for lighting deal for 60 a couple months ago. They have probably the best bass of any in ear headphone I've tried in this entry level space. They are a bit open ear though however they also fit snuggly when needed for extra noise cancelation.

Yup I remember those. Exactly whats holding me back. Those deals would occur every two months but I don't recall seeing a real deal on any samsung buds in the past 6 months now..

My only use case would be making phone calls as they have the best mic 9/10 & music qlty 7/10 & you can't suffer other earbuds that go in ear canal, all other stats like fit/ staying in ear 3/10. If you have small years then they probably won't fit, there is no workaround since they come in one size and putting the useless bud covers doesn't do a thing due to their weird shape.

They introduced a new color but same model. There has been no new buds live after initial release only new colors.

Yes. I can confirm that I have seen these Galaxy Buds live at around $40-$50 for a few times around during the same 2-3 month period. I did not buy because I did not need them. I did buy the Galaxy tab S7+ for about $350-400, also during the same time period.

While historically, these buds live TWS had been cheaper (and no, there is no newer model; it's the same thing), it does not mean we will see those price again.

If you need a pair now, this is the best price for quite some time. But if you don't really need one repair and is just bargain hunting, don't buy as it's not that great based on past price. Wait until Samsung gives out those crazy deals. It's very likely to happen since the economy is not doing well and companies are looking to clear inventory. Don't be surprised that we see cheaper price in 3 month time.

I've had these for a year. Traded up from the original Galaxy Buds. Sound quality was definitely an improvement, but after the first week or so could not get them to stay in my ear. The high gloss finish on them combined with any little bit of oils from your fingers and they're going to fall out. I regularly have to clean them with a bit of rubbing alcohol, and that seems to help for 1-2 uses. I've tried the different size discs they include, but really didn't help. Tried the sleeves, but made them too wide to fit in my ear. Just depends on your ear shape, but feel like I have fairly normal size/shape ears (maybe a bit on the small side). My main gripe aside from keeping them from falling out, is that the rotation of them has to be perfect otherwise you can't hear anything.
