You also can't go wrong with a 4k 43" 16:9.
32" is not really that big tbh.
That resolution is usually for 27" monitors

Giving up the vertical pixels doesn't help for productivity. My personal setup (wfh software engineer) is a 35" UW (Monoprice) and mounted above it a 24" 1080p AOC monitor. I needed the 1080p monitor as I was having issues with people being able to see my screen share well when I was sharing a 1440p monitor.
The ultrawide doesn't quite multitask as well as 2 screens. I really prefer having a 2nd screen, even with the UW. If you are going to be on 1 screen, don't sacrifice and get a 1440p UW.
As for curve or not, I would recommend getting the curved screen on this large of a display. Helps keep viewing angle proper throughout the screen.
I actually prefer a single large screen for multitasking. Personal preference is key here. I'm thinking of picking up a 43" 4k for my WFH computer to see if the extra room is worth the curved/flat tradeoff.
What I'm trying to say is it really comes down to preference. Lots of people keep saying 1080p is too big on 27". Here I am using it on 34" and 27" monitors. I find that having a lot of screens is less helpful rather than the macOS gesture swiping to get to another organized desktop too. Less head turning.

It's giving me a bit of eye strain lately. It's 5 years old at this point.
My pros:
-so much less clutter than 2 bulkier monitors with stands and add-on speakers
-1080p is a little less friendly than 1440p in regards to text, but the "ultra wide" aspect ratio keeps it from being stretched like some 32" regular aspect ratio monitors I've seen
-built in speakers using usb c/hdmi are so much better than plugging/unplugging a headphone jack from any device I want to use (or getting crackles and pops from splitting audio out, etc.) Again, I'm just using using this for the occasional teams meeting and YouTube video
-it looks nicer, newer, and slimmer than my old monitors without all sorts of red, flashy gamer branding
Cons:
-1080p isn't as nice as 1440p (but still very much doable, especially for for $250)
-no power delivery in the usb c port (I think? I haven't actually tested this out, but I'm pretty sure)
-it can be tough to screen share ultra wide monitors
I've purchased and returned a similarly priced dell 1440p 32" monitor and 1440p LG ergo stand monitor with usb c power due to pixel issues and the monitors just not looking or feeling nice for daily use. I'm very pleased with this one though, and I'm planning to keep it.
