Thanks for posting! I ordered the 34" from Amazon and am cancelling my 31.5 Acer Nitro that wouldn't get in until January.
I'm sacrificing 1440p, but I'm getting an extra 2.5" across and USB C connectivity.

I'm planning to use this for office work 95% of the time, and I've read that a flat screen is easier to work with than a curved screen. I'm looking forward to getting rid of my bulky dual monitor setup and having a built-in speaker for work calls.

For what it's worth, a 32" 16:9 is a much better aspect ratio for office work. I'm buying this unit just so I could stack it on top of my 43" 16:9 for that very same reason: vertical space is paramount.

Isn't the text will appear fuzzy on this screen size and 1080 resolution? The 34 inch screen size is too large for a 1080 resolution. You need at least 1440p or higher?

Is a curved monitor worth the extra $ over this? 90% of the time I would use it for work (Excel).

I would not do a 34/35" ultrawide unless it is 3440x1440.

Giving up the vertical pixels doesn't help for productivity. My personal setup (wfh software engineer) is a 35" UW (Monoprice) and mounted above it a 24" 1080p AOC monitor. I needed the 1080p monitor as I was having issues with people being able to see my screen share well when I was sharing a 1440p monitor.

The ultrawide doesn't quite multitask as well as 2 screens. I really prefer having a 2nd screen, even with the UW. If you are going to be on 1 screen, don't sacrifice and get a 1440p UW.

As for curve or not, I would recommend getting the curved screen on this large of a display. Helps keep viewing angle proper throughout the screen.

This is one of those you won't miss unless you actually try it features. I have ultrawide 2560x1080 on all of my desktops- office workstation, WFH-machine, Gaming PC. I tried it once in 2014 and had to convert all my desktops to match. And I was happy with 2560x1080.

Until I upped to a 3440x1440 screen on my game PC last summer. It is crazy how much 360 vertical pixels adds. Now I've upgraded the WFH machine to match. Just gotta convince my boss to let me upgrade my workstation.

Both were Costco LG models; UltraGear 38" 38GN950; UltraWide 35" 35WN65C.

Totally agree on the extra pixels on this size of screen though. I can't imagine 1080p on my 35"UW. Curved is worth it too - my buddy has a 43" 4k as a monitor, and even though it has nice wide viewing angles, the edges always look a bit off - not a big deal, but I really like my curved monitor, especially for gaming.

I actually prefer a single large screen for multitasking. Personal preference is key here. I'm thinking of picking up a 43" 4k for my WFH computer to see if the extra room is worth the curved/flat tradeoff.

I would probably put myself in the same category. I have an ASUS 34" Ultrawide at work. 1080p resolution, and it is fine for what I do. Sharp enough. Would 1440p be better? Of course, but ignorance is bliss Smilie

I do a lot of spreadsheet work with a ton of columns. Would u recommend the 32in 16:9 for that?
