Also note this issue is for writes and how much you transfer at one time.
I'm a little confused. Your link doesn't mention this drive or even the Solidigm brand.

According to
https://www.techpowerup.com/ssd-s...-2-tb.d857
This drive has an SLC cache of around 300GB and then it would drop to about 400MB/s.
This can be tested using special software, but this doesn't actually happen during normal use.
Amazon reviews are a solid 5-stars right now, so I was just curious what his or her PC set up looked like. Maybe there's a clue there that could help.
Looks like the post should be updated to reflect price of $110 as the $60 is for 1TB version.

Newegg has their Black Friday Price Protection [newegg.com] but only for eligible items, noted with an orange badge or text on the product page. I don't see that for this item, but I would reach out to their customer service anyways and see what you can do.

I chatted with their rep and they are giving me a giftcard for the difference. Good enough for me.

Nice! Then you can pair that with the next Newegg deal on here and it feels like an even better deal, haha.

Don't trust their backorders. They will hold your money and then cancel after 2 months.

I don't understand why anyone would buy these with QLC. If they exceed 50% of their capacity the performance tanks to an HDD

I don't suppose you'd happen to have a reference to confirm that drop in performance? TIA.

Newegg states they should restock by the end of the week.

Terrible SSD if I can call it that. After spending days trying Windoze 10 to work with it - the speeds were terrible after it writes about 50GB to the Drive. It has speeds in the vicinity of 25-30MB/s. Worse than my WD NAS Drives. I guess the $80 MC SSD is way better than these for less money. I was fooled into thinking these were either the Intel or Hynix Technology - but these seem to have the worst of both of them. and No support from their company.

Hold your money hostage by not charging you until it ships?

Your experience seems out of the norm based on pro reviews and customer reviews. What does your PC setup look like?
