I would get a brand new 512GB instead of a "renewed" 1 TB from Amazon, which basically means that you are getting a used item. I'd rather have a brand new battery that is at 100% health with a brand new iPad that hasn't been used or touched by anybody else.
On the link to Amazon that's posted, it even says on the item description that it's not certified by Apple.
"This pre-owned product has been professionally inspected, tested and cleaned by Amazon qualified vendors. It is not certified by Apple."
What's an "Amazon qualified vendor"? Could be a monkey sitting somewhere in a basement for all I know.

Returning the M2 I bought!
$575 great deal. I would return my M1 11 for that. Where did you buy that didn't charge sales tax?
Can you advise or share me your though on my dilemmas?
Thinking of returning my 128gb 11 inch M2 iPad Pro (that I got for $600) for the 12.9 M1 256gb iPad Pro for $900. Is it worth it for light productivity and media consumption?

If you're doing light productivity the m1 is perfectly capable, for years. For media consumption, you'd want the 12.9 but for me, I wouldn't spend an extra $300 for something I don't use extensively so I would pick it based on the screen size/storage that is the best bang for my buck.
If you don't mind refurbished items, I would actually go on Best Buy and check to see if they have any open box 12.9 m1 pro in your area. I got my 12.9 256gb m1 for 650 before tax. Check in on it daily if it's enough of a savings or if you have time as they go in and out of stock from when I was looking.
I ended up not doing it.
I'm glad that it worked out for you.
