I asked customer support, they said the pink color for the tab s8+ is being discontinued, so they're discounting it.

Thanks OP - I decided to upgrade my Tab S2 for this Tab S8+. Tax and CA "recycling fee" made it $460.24. Not bad for a nice OLED tablet.
