I just picked this controller up about 3 weeks ago from BB. Color is silver and shifts in certain lights. It does have Smokey looking rubber grip handles which feel really nice when gaming for long sessions.

My primary controller is the arctic camo from 2019/2020 and the newer XSeries controllers have a slightly different joystick feel but a good type of different.

Overall a solid price especially for limited release!

i can't really tell from any of the press releases or stock photos, but, just to be sure, this is NOT iridescent, correct? TIA!

edit: nevermind, i did see a mention of "when the light hits it just right" on the official product page [xbox.com] so i guess "shift" does indicate iridescence, also on the aqua shift controller. sweet!

I still use the old Lunar White controller with the gold accents as my go to https://www.gamestop.com/gaming-a...36135.html . This one's tempting for an upgrade, but I'm still hoping to find a decent deal on the Forza Hoizon 5 one after Walmart repeatedly canceled on me last year, but they seem to be long gone now...

I played with that controller for years. One of the better looking controllers ever in my opinion

Eh... As much as I like Xbox I'm pretty annoyed that my controller that came with my system is already joystick drifting, after probably only 100 hours or so on it cuz I switch back and forth between another one...

$36-38 for the normal solid color options, this specific lunar shift edition wasn't part of that promotion.

Yeah that's not true. The neon green is usually $20+ more on average from the promotion.

I'm not sure about the blue and red options though.

If that's the normal price why aren't they offered at those prices anywhere online today? Ah... Because they're not.
