I agree, perhaps if it dropped in price a little bit?

4600g at $100 is the one to go with for regular daily tasks. The 5600g is better with both single core and mt work. So the price difference is nothing.

This chip is awesome in a server. iGPU frees up your PCIE slots for NVME adaptors.

Built my dad a nice little 3.3L Inwin Chopin APU build with this and the Asrock B550M-ITX/AC. Very fast and responsive, good to see these hitting this price range. Used the WD Blue 570 nvme, 32GB 3600MHz DDR4 and it feels excellent.

Keep in mind, it offers pcie3.0 all around, which is relevant if you want to use pcie4.0 nvme or if you are trying to use the Radeon 6500XT which only uses 8 pcie lanes and therefore works much better on 8 pcie4.0 lanes. That's a unique case though, most other gpu use 16 pcie3.0 lanes and do within 2% performance of using it on pcie4.0.

Just get the 5600 (non x) for the same price if you really need pcie4.0, and already plan on getting a GPU. That offers around 10% more compute performance but don't have the integrated graphics. 5600G is best for compact, office, or specialty builds.
